AUF: Enduring Light is a special week of inspiring, teaching, and training young men to be the spokesmen that God is seeking for His Church today.
At Enduring Light, we take young men ages 13-19 who have a desire to learn how to prepare and preach a sermon and teach them to do just that! We have a volunteer staff with over 100 years ministry experience. Campers are taught by college professors, preaching school teachers, and ministers with real-life experience.
Courses include: core offering of preaching 101, hermeneutics, homiletics, public speaking; our advanced track adds major doctrines and personal evangelism; and our tier three classes includes advanced hermeneutics and advanced homiletics.
Campers study these subjects Monday through Wednesday of camp, simultaneously preparing a sermon with their newly acquired and refined skills at a local congregation on Wednesday night. before dismissal on Thursday, the young men receive evaluations, encouragement, and more training to take home. Not only do they receive practical skills and experiences the week of camp, but our auf volunteers offer themselves in continued discipleship with the boys as they navigate their walk with Jesus during their lifetime
Further, Should he choose to continue his education in preaching after high school graduation, auf will award each young man $50 per year of camp attended in the form of a scholarship. Our first auf:enduring light camp scholarship was awarded in 2026 to Tobe strickland!
While registration for camp is always free of charge, pre-registration is required!
